Installing modern large-format digital gauges in a 1967–1972 C10 often creates one unavoidable issue: steering column interference. Traditionally, solving it meant cutting, welding, and committing to permanent modifications.
 
This steering column lowering kit eliminates that problem.
 
Our kit lowers the your 2" steering column to provide the clearance required for oversized digital displays—like the Holley 12.3”—while remaining fully bolt-in and completely reversible. No cutting. No fabrication. No regrets if plans change later.
 
This is the Cab Kit, and comes with the cab-side brackets needed to lower your 2" column. You must ensure that your aftermarket firewall column bracket/holder will also allow you to shift your column lower. If it is a ball/socket style passthrough you're likely okay.
