3D Scanning

We offer two varieties of scanning. For applications that require color and non-critical dimensioning (down to 0.01mm) we utilize a structured-light scanner from Shining3D. This process is often used for scanning art, sculptures, or anything where color is important in the scan.

For applications that require critical tolerances we utilize a Creaform scanner with certified accuracy down to 0.03mm. With either scanner we can provide you with raw scan data, or a mesh file such as an STL.

Inspection

Our 3D scanning inspection service provides precise and reliable measurements to ensure your parts meet the highest quality standards. Using our laser scanner, we capture detailed geometry to compare your components against CAD models or design specifications. This process identifies deviations, verifies tolerances, and delivers actionable insights for improving performance and accuracy. Whether for prototyping, production, or quality assurance, our inspection services help you achieve unmatched precision and confidence in your results.

Reverse Engineering

Our reverse engineering services use advanced 3D scanning technology to recreate accurate digital models of existing parts. Whether you need to reproduce obsolete components, modify existing designs, or generate CAD files for manufacturing, we deliver precise, high-quality results. By capturing every detail of your part with metrology-grade accuracy, we ensure the final model meets your exact specifications. Rates

3D Scanning – Rates range from $125 to $200 per hour, depending on the technology used and the complexity of the project. Minimum hours may apply.

Inspection – Typically charged on a per-part basis, plus setup time. Contact us to discuss your specific needs and receive an accurate quote.

Reverse Engineering – Pricing is either $125 to $175 per hour or quoted as a total project cost, based on factors such as desired outcomes, ownership, and other requirements.
